I set up a small 3.1 speaker set I had in the room and plugged them into the adapter. I went downstairs and grabbed a USB->Headphone adapter device I have had for a while, and plugged it into out iMac. Despite he game's default setup for killing the music and bringing the game sounds down to 25%, his voice coming out of the same speakers was just "fuzzy", and I didn't like it. Or try explicitly setting the Voice Input and Output devices.Ī week or so ago, I was playing 2v2 team games with a friend, I was dissatisfied with the voice chat quality. I could only suggest increasing the number of voice channels (should be under "Sound" in the game Options menu), I have never had a problem with voice chat.

Seems like the Witch Gods still want something from you. “My name is Izel and you must be Olexra”. She saw an old man looking at her curiously. “Witch Gods” - thought just apperead in her head seemingly out of nowhere. Suddenly they looked up with their burning eyes piercing through her astral self. She thought she recognized them although she had never seen them before. In her fevered dream she was looking at her body from a bird’s eye view. Suddenly dizziness came rushing back and her head rang like a thousand church bells. She tried to touch the part of the neck where the cold blade of the Inquisitor pierced her. “Wait”, she thought to herself, “That Inquisitor girl with scars on her face… Harra… She… killed me”. Her ears were still buzzing from the last altercation with Emperor’s Inquisition. One of the NAM modules that you have to use for SimCity 4 causes the game to freeze when when not paused, NetworkAddonModBridgesPluginController.dat, so you have to manually remove it before starting your game (completely from the folder. As I said, in normal use I just don't notice any degradation. It's my working assumption that it just slows as it fills up with various files, and there doesn't seem to be much you can do about it. It's unlikely a temperature issue, as the thing almost never gets above 50 degrees c reported. On a previous run write was as low as 700 MB/s sequential, like I said, huge variation as before. I've just run it now, and the write speed is reported as below. I really can't be bothered worrying about it, as it's not perceptible to me in use, but it is a bit odd. The new one is now showing identical behaviour to the old one. I then tested it in the fresh securely erased state, and guess what, it had returned to it's former reported performance (sequential read speed, around 3500 MB/s, write just under 2500 MB/s). What I didn't tell them was prior to sending it back, I cloned it to another disk, and then I securely erased the drive. I contacted Sabrent support who said that didn't sound right, and to return it. It was suggested to me that it may be something to do with the drive cache, but I never really got to the bottom of it. I noticed after a good few months use, it was now mostly showing around 800 MB/s - but with fairly high variation between tests. Freshly installed, CrystalDM was showing sequential write speeds between 2000-2500 MB/s. I noticed something similar with my Sabrent Rocket 512 MB SSD.
